RADIATE is a free women’s conference that was started in August 2024. The Lord placed a vision in the heart of our Radiance Women’s Ministry director, Valerie Tamez; to bring a conference to the Atascosa County, Poteet community and surrounding areas that would be free to all women. This is a special 2 days filled with encouraging messages, prayer, table talks, worship, food, and a lot of fellowship! Women from all surrounding areas have come and filled the seats for the last 2 years. Our first year brought in about 180 women in those 2 days, and our second year brought in around 210 women. We have been blessed by multiple businesses in the surrounding areas who have generously given monetary or in-kind donations, which have been used to bless our guests with door prizes and to encourage them to shop and eat at the supporting businesses. Our building is small, but our hearts and vision are big, and the Lord has provided exceedingly and abundantly! We have managed to fit every person into the building and have given them tools to strengthen their walk with Christ and become the Masterpiece that Christ has created them to be. They have been taught to Choose Joy in all of life’s circumstances. And this year in 2026, our theme is to Bloom With Grace, Planted by God. We are so excited to launch this conference for our 3rd year and have had ladies already inquiring about the registration opening. We anticipate another full house and an anointing from the Lord, just as we have seen the last 2 years.
